After days of raining, I spotted this interesting phenomenon near my block. One day when I was on my way home, I saw this botak tree. The neighbouring trees are green and alive. Only this one seems dead. All the leaves turned brown and hanging on the tree. Why didn't they drop off? Why are the neighbouring trees all surviving but this one? Could it be no more nutrients in the soil from that patch of grass? This certainly isn't that kind of tree that dropped leaves during certain season. I have been staying here for more than twenty years and this is the first time I saw the tree in this state. I am puzzled...
