Catalina State Park

What happens when a rose collides with a cactus? What happens if a porcupine bangs into them? I only know what will happen when my jeep collide with a cactus (found out the answer from a postcard).

I remember there is this cactus land in the game final fantasy. Lots of giant cactus everywhere. Today, I am right here, in this land of cactus.

The mountains, where I was heading to... looks near, looks short. Haa, I was wrong, I nearly get trapped up there.

I should have rented one of these, and take the horse trail up, it would have been so much easier. However, it doesn't go to the submit and I want to get to the top, so... drop the idea.

I should also have follow one of these tailored trails, it would have been so much easier, but then they don't go to the top, and it doesn't seem interesting enough. So, in the end I set off on my own path, with a hiking map and a compass borrowed from the ranger's office.

I am glad I did explore on my own. I discovered this lovely little site with a small stream of water flowing. Water in the desert hill! I think it may be due to the snow melting from the submit. Lovely view.

Army of cactus with their two generals!

Ok, in the end, regret that when I finally reached somewhere near the top, it was already dark. Either I hurried my way down or spend the night up there, which is not very wise. Firstly, it was cold. Second, I have a feeling that they are some strange creatures up there that might pop out from somewhere. I carried this fear on my way down, which in a way is good as it doubled up my pace downhill. It was totally dark by 7pm and all I have is a torch. Dragged myself all the way down, hit my jeep and zoom off...phew!

One last one which I forgot... This is huge!!

Interesting facts about driving in the States

Six years ago, I had my first driving experience in the states. It was also in Arizona, didn't really have much fun because I did not have a driving license yet then. I was just playing around with my sec sch friend, Hsi Kang's car. Driving was so fun that immediately after I returned back to Singapore, I signed up for my driving lessons and obtained my driving license in less than six weeks. In the States, they are using the left hand drive which is different from Singapore where we are using the right hand side. Basically, it just means different sides where the steerling wheel is placed at. Because I drove illegally in the States, without a driving license, everything was abnormal when I started my first few driving lessons. Basically, I have to perform a mirror image. When the instructor told me to make a turn, instead of switching on the signal indicator, I hit on the wiper switch, always keeping to the wrong side of the road and turning into other people's lane, instead of keeping left, I kept right. But one thing that I am proud of, my parking skills are great. Haha, I practised hard in the States before mah. I think if he just sees my parking skills, he should have thought if I were one of those people who already had license revoked before. Anyway, I was so proud that I passed and got my driving license in less than six weeks.

Today, Arizona revisited after six years. I had my international driving permit with me. Everything seem so strange but interesting. There are stuffs that I did not realised six years ago (maybe they were not being implemented yet) and we do not practise them in Singapore.

The car I am using... Left hand drive. Now, look carefully at the device just under the mirror. That's the interesting stuff...

This is detector. It is capable of detecting traffic lights, speed cameras and police patrol cars, giving out different types of beeps for each of them. It has a number display which will increase as the distance of the detected object gets nearer. This is only detector. There is another more powerful device called the radar jammer, which I don't have it in this car as it is actually illegal. For the radar jammer, basically it functions the same as this detector. However, after detecting the speed cameras, it will also send a signal out to jam the speed camera. Maybe I guess this why it is illegal, because of signal interference. Hmm.. do we have such devices in Singapore, so that we will know when to slow down? I think some of the Singapore cars may have them installed illegally.

In Arizona, people never park their cars using reverse parking. They park head-in. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, the people here drive recklessly. Hit-and-run in carparks are very common. When you get hit on the rear, it is easier to claim insurance because most of the time, you will not be at fault if the rear of your car got hit. (How it was assess by insurance companies la.) However, the more important reason is that there are a lot of cases of cars being stolen and towed all the way to sell in Mexico, Arizona being very near to Mexico. It is easier to jack up a car and tow it away from the front then the rear. That is why people park their car head-in.

Stop sign. You have to stop seeing a stop sign over here, regardless there are vehicles or not. This is how it works over here. There are stop signs for both pedestrians and vehicles. Both have to stop, but whoever reached the juction first will get to proceed first. I think this is more common than zebra crossing bah.

The yellow school bus, the biggest F**K on the road! There are two stop signs on each side of the bus (sorry, not captured in the picture), once the school bus stops for students to alight, the lights on the two stop signs will be on, and vehicles on both sides of the road have to stop!

Please obey the traffic rules. If not, you will get what I have got - First summon in the States. 50USD! Sigh, guess my luck has been super down recently (continuation from previous post).

Some interesting car plates. Did it just ask me to "Get Lost!" Unfriendly. But this is not my car.

This is the car I am using. Stocking up for the next journey. It is always good to stock up extra petrol in your car, especially if you are travelling across states. You will really freaked out when you are running out of petrol and you can't even see a single soul along the way, not to talk about gas station.

Also, beware of people riding horses on the road!

Hee, also something about air traffic that I noticed on my way here. This picture is taken on the plane. If you enlarged the picture, you will see a streamline of smoke. This is not a shooting star. It is a Fedex plane. Wow, have you all seen a neighbouring plane while travelling on a plane? It was so big and close... and fast. By the time I took out my camera, it already zoomed to a distant, which is why it is so tiny in the photo (just look at the smoke trail). Is this dangerous? Imagine, all it needs is a failure radar detection of an air turbulence that will happen at that point of time, by the control tower? Can't remember if there is any control towers nearby, I was in the middle of the journey.

Bye Bye

Time flies... the first term of my semester over here finally ended. It is the long waited 4 weeks of Easter Holiday! I am going to do a long post for this entry as I am going to take a break and off to the states soon... Its going to be long, so I included music! Turn up the volume and relax. Soon... I will be... Not in town... Not in town... Not in town... Haha.

Up till now, I enjoyed my time over here very much. There's always this saying... Life is a learning process. I believe that even the worst person on earth will have something that I can learn from. Just be humble and keep learning from everybody. What have I learned so far? From the English people - how to party, unicycling, rugby, how to play prank on people, bathroom to En Suite conversion and even how to steal food from the dining hall (We stole a whole loaf of bread from someone who stole it first, oh.. he was so damn pissed.)!! I know this sounds rather childish, but then these are the stuffs that add colours to my life over here. I am not here to mug everyday. I have learned how the english people enjoy life.

Not just the english people, also learned a hell lot from the Singaporeans who came over with me, who I travelled with. YS is such a great cook. Wow, the way he shopped at the supermarket for the best food at the best price... I don't think any girl can beat him. Before I came over, the kitchen is really not my playground. I tried making cheesecakes before, though the shape doesn't turn out nice. My brother is a great cook. And now, after being YS's assistant in the kitchen, I am ready to go back and challenge my brother. And also YH, the way she complains about things is so interesting. Everytime complaining "heng ke lian"... in the end, she always know how to deal with things positively. My pre-semester trip with these two is super interesting. They alway seem so "bu shuang" with each other, but quite obvious that they definitely enjoy each others' company. I am lucky and honoured to have travel with you two. Although there are lots of complaints, but once in a while, compliments still came... "虽然他态度不好, but I still prefer to travel with him, that is my style of travelling... " (YH complimenting YS, and she don't even want to go London and Bacelona with me anymore!). Followed by "Wow, I am going to slap her... I should charge her and open a travel agency..." (replied by YS, with a proud smile on his face). Interesting two! But, this time wish you both have a nice easter trip. Regret that I can't join you... We will do something for the trip after the semester bah... hopefully.

Next, I am going to close the chapter on that "poisoned post". After that post, suddenly so many people became interested in my life. My best buddy interrogated me the very next day, shooting me loads of questions which I answered promptly. But just too bad, JX, you don't know that girl and so how am I going to tell you who she is. And to that whoever you are on my tagboard, although you are very evil to want to poison me as well, I appreciate that, rather comforting... thanks. To Siyin, sorry not around to reply you on msn that day. Yesh, you are right... I am useless, 我认了... To W.W., I don't have a gf and don't have a 'yet to be gf', if you want to intro girls to me, ask them to send in application forms. But please do proper screening, I am not that desperate. Going crazy ... Yah, anyway, the poison has already been neutralised. She has been very kind enough to do a tactful rejection. Of course, I am also smart enough to be able to read between lines. Everything is cleared. Her way of dealing with it reflected that she still cherish the friendship and I am... grateful for that. Thanks. I will cherish this friendship. Oh yah, and to JUnGle.G. I swear that you are never a lightbulb. Wow lau, I don't know how you get that idea, but NO! The streets on that day are already very bright enough... I was really happy that you came. I asked so many people that day and everybody bor chup me other than the two of you. Haha. So yah, chapter closed.

Anyway, I just realised another good benefit of being a Singaporean. A consolation from a friend actually. (More consolation came with a parcel, read on later) The Singapore government always take great care of their citizens and there is this thing called the SDU (Social Development Unit??) Wow... *paused... trying to imagine.... myself.... being a member of the SDU... after graduation... oh shitty shit. Nightmare! OK, CUT! Chapter closed!

I also received some little surprises this week. First is the parcel from Keneath. I got nothing to say... it is really..so.. "qiyong-like". The content of the parcel... japanese drama - waterboys 2! (Pirated of course), japanese anime - a compilation of all the naruto episodes that I have missed, and what else... instant chicken rice and lasak - a taste from home. He also sent me chocolates, trying to explain his theory to me. "From you to me, it melted, but from me to you, I bet those chocolates are still in shape!... blah blah blah." Thanks hor, I understand what you are trying to tell me. Life's never fair, Newton's third law doesn't apply, especially in relationships. I have figure this out long long time ago! And thanks for suan-ing me about my melted chocolates, its your fault for not putting them into the fridge immediately you received them. The best part - there is also a flyer in that parcel - a wacky chat hotline advertisement flyer, with lots of cute japanese girls - all my favourite! (Ryoko Hirosue, Kou Shibasaki, Aya Matsuura!). Oh man, imagining that I may end up in the SDU is already bad enough, and now what have I got?? A wacky chat hotline flyer!! Keneath, you are good la. But.. wait a minute, aren't those hotlines suppose to start off with 1900 xxxxxxx? But the number on that flyer started off +65-9xxxxxxx. Haha, then I realised that it was Keneath's hp number. I called. A sexy voice answered the phone, it was May. Keneath: did you purposely ask your gf to answer this phone call from me? How did you know that the call was from me. I am calling through Skype! That was really kind of the you two! Anyway, thanks for all the great stuffs you have sent. Great effort in designing that flyer. I am going to bring the instant foodstuffs over to the states, and watch naruto on the plane. As for waterboys 2, I finished it in 2 days. It was really great, I have done a blog entry on it, will post it together with all these.

Then came the first postcard I received in UK. Thanks Angela. But, are you sure you can only afford a postcard? You know, at least... I was expecting a video clip... "可以...嗎?" Haha, just kidding. That postcard is good enough le. Really can smell the Angela-flavour from those words on it. Thanks so much! I miss you! I miss you so much... missed your concert! Ops, sorry... wrong Angela. That was, Angela 张韶涵. =p

People always said, when one's love life sucks, he should have some financial luck. 情场失意, 赌场得意. But looks like I have no financial luck either recently. My last surviving HYIP just buang. John Horan, the so called director of studiotraffic just ran away. Now I have one income less. For people who are unfamiliar, HYIP basically means those autosurf programs, paid to surf. Obviously, to most smart people, first impression will be these are scams. That's what I thought initially when I was first introduced to it 2 years ago. Those companies will surely close down and run away once they have got enough money, just like a pyramid system. Now, the question is, when will they run away. You may be surprise, it is actually possible for one to take advantage on these scams and frauds. After careful analysis, my conclusion was that as long as I am able to get back my capital before the company close down and run away, I will already be in profit. This is a gamble. It usually takes about three months to get back your capital. All I need is to survive through the three months and I can break even, the rest will be profits. But remember, after the breakeven point, do not ever be tempted or greedy to throw in more fresh money for further investment. And with further analysis, if you throw 100% of all your money into one company and bet your luck against it, hoping that you can survive through the three months, this is a gamble. However, if you split your money and throw 10% of each portion to 10 different companies, this is not gambling, but rather, an investment. The probability of 10 companies closing down at the same time and run away is so much lower. (Same as the do not put all eggs in one basket theory lah.) This is what I did, but not with 10 (not enough capital), only 3! 12dailypro just fly kite a few months ago, and now... studiotraffic. I saw the day coming long before, after reading this post from a forum. And to be able to survive until this day, I have already made quite a profit out of all them. Hehe, I started a year plus ago. The sad thing is, no more such monthly income for me. Don't be mistaken anyway, I am not appealing to you all for money. My principle is easy, if no income, look for more sidelines. (Who want to take up inline skating lesson? Anyone?) If I have money, treat you all to chocolates and coffee! (All except for one who doesn't like chocolates.) Sidetrack, a friend asked me before if I believe in MLM and will one be able to make big money doing MLM. My answer is I do not believe in MLM, but I believe one can make money doing MLM, because I believe there are always people out there who will believe in the system. You just need to recruit the "right" people. However, I didn't go into MLM, don't have the time and I am not a sales person lah. Anyway, all these systems have one thing is in common, when the company is established and being recognised by lots of people, that's the time when its going to be game over.
Same for insurances, I do not believe in most of them (other than some of those investment kind, when you have too much money and nowhere to throw). But insurance companies are able to make big money because there are always people who will believe in the need of buying it, and they know how to put the fear into people! Ask YH and YS why do they buy a travel insurance for SEP. Until today, I am still surviving without being insured or covered by anything. Keeping my fingers crossed, hoping nothing happen till the end... anyway, will deal with it when the needs arise. And trust me, if I ever buy a travel insurance, I will make sure I profited from it. I will claim my way up to the max. But just by principles, I shall not do it, unless I find that there is unfairness in the insurance company dealing with a certain claim.

This coming sunday is the UK Mothers' Day. Its suppose to be in the month of may in Singapore. Mom: I LOVE YOU! Somebody reading this please tell my mom, I don't think she reads my blog. (Sis, 麻烦你了.) I know I have been whining a lot recently in my blog, especially this long post. But come on, this is the only place which allows me to do it - whining like a kid! I can't do it anywhere else? It doesn't look right! One day, I am going to try whining like a kid to my mom, face to face, but only when just the both of us are around. I want to be a mommy's boy! I want to bring my mom out shopping. Once again, 母亲节快乐!

Now, I want to blog about this great drama that I have just finished watching... it brings back alots of my great memories...

Waterboys II

I just finished watching this drama and there's only one word to describe it. AWESOME! I have watched Waterboys Movie, Waterboys Season 1 and Waterboys Season 2. Season 1 and season 2 are quite similar, basically have to admit that it is just a replication of each other. But it makes more sense to just watch Waterboys Movie and then Waterboys Season 2. You can forget about Season 1 as it is not really good compared to the second one. At least, there is some link between season 2 and the movie.

If you have watched Waterboys Movie before, out of those five guys, there is one who is quite prominent, the most girly and gay one! In the second season, he has became the teacher in charge of the school's men's synchronized swimming team and his girly character still remains. This is a great drama with a good sense of humour. Highly recommended.

A quote from the Waterboys2 "A person who fails will gain even more than one who succeed."

I really love this drama because it brings back great memories while I was watching it. Everybody striving together towards the same goal, with all the hard work and sweat! It reminds me of being myself - The courage to go and do things that one really enjoys despite all the difficulties and uncertainties. It really requires you to get out of the comfort zone and walk a different path from one which is already proven and is always walked by the majority. All the past memories when I really have the passion to do something kept flowing in. It reminds me of the training days during secondary school for the national championship. Everybody training so hard together, six nights a week and heck about tests and exams. That was definitely the most fulfiling part of my life. (qinghai, wenyao and ruiyan: I swear I still remember every single step of the changquan, broadsword and cudgel routine.) Somehow, the focus in my life suddenly changed and those great passions were lost. I think it is more of surrounding circumstance factors. During JC, once again, that kind of passion I used to have was back, with my laser and 420 fighting hard for the inter-school. I remembered I was so focus on it that I even intend to buy my own boat for the training. That was when everybody was working really hard together as a team, and also fighting alongside with the person who got me into this sport (you know who you are, JX!). We were really so good that we took over the challenge trophy from RJC that year, emerging as triple champ! - 420 boys, 420 girls and the Laser guys! However, things changed again the year after... because of some misfortune that happened in the team... the people were not as united as before... and the passion was once again gone. Since then, I have been flying kite until now.

There is this classic interview question that is one of my favourite, always asked during one of those scholarship interviews...
Question from interviewer: "So... overall you have very good academic results, however I noticed that at certain point of time, you are not very consistent... Why is that so?"
Answer to interviewer: "Because I believe my life is not all about studies, at different points of time in my life, there are different important purposes and goals which I want to pursue... which may include... chasing girls, which explains the drop of my results at that point of time!"

Cherish every second of life and live it to the fullest with no REGRETS!

Back to some screen shots of this awesome drama...

Ichihara Hayato, the lead actor. Not bad for his acting at such a young age.

Ishihara Satomi, she is soooo cute!! I m falling for her~~ Partly because of this eye candy that I am able to finish this drama in 2 days.

Saotome sensei, the girly one, who is also one of the 5 waterboys in Waterboys Movie.

Screenshots from Waterboys Movie

Here is Saotome in Waterboys Movie.

Lastly, how could I forget the cute Aya!

I wrote all these immediately after I finished watching the final episdoe of Waterboys 2 and got so emotionally excited. Haha.

The ending of this drama is super touching. Usually there are only two ways one will react to it. Either you drop a tear or you burst out with laughter. Girls usually will cry, and for guys, usually we will try to act macho and laugh out loud instead of crying. But we need to laugh, need somthing to supress that touching moment. If any of you watch this drama from the first to the last episode and do not get emotional, tell me, I buy you chocolates =p

Ok, I know it has been a long post. To make up for it, I will try to blog less during my easter holiday. Finally to end it off, I would like to wish everybody...

Happy Easter!
Happy April Foo Day!
Yehong: Happy Birthday!
Mom: Happy Mothers' Day!
NUS/NTU/SMU people: Bestest of luck for the coming exam!

More updates coming... if I have access to internet.

Regards
Yong

Strike

Had a strike over here yesterday. Basically, supposed to be no lesson in most UK universities. I was told this is a conflict between the government and the teaching staffs due to professors over here being underpaid. However, my hardworking tutor emailed my class saying that her tutorial will continue as usual. In the end, I turned up. There was only one other student who turned up. It ended up in a 3 persons chatting session.

Went to watch a tabletennis match today. It was so super boring. Its not a matter of winning, but win by how many points, how many matches. Sigh, feel sad for all his opponents. Here's the man of the night...

Less than 20 days to US

Called Xinlin on Skype regarding my US trip. Its been so long since I last talked to her. The conversation goes...

Yong: Hello lin, qiyong here
Lin: hi, ehh.. 讲华语, 讲华语...
Yong: huh, why? You free? What are you doing now?
Lin: 讲华语, 我有东西要跟你讲啦!
Yong: okok.. 嗯?你要跟我讲什么?
Lin: 我在偷懒!

And then we just burst out with laughter. For those who knows her, you can definitely imagine the way she said it with her "interesting" voice. What a way to start a conversation! Yah, I called her in the middle of her work (US time about 2pm), just after lunch and she was surfing the internet looking for apartment. (Lin: Hope your boss don't read this.) First she bought a volkswagen beatle, and now going to buy her own apartment!

Yup, settled my US trip! Flying to Arizona, will be going to the Grand Canyond with Wilson. After that will be flying over to Washington DC to meet up with lin. I will get to use her beatle after fetching her to work and think I shall go around Virgina and Washington. We will be going to New York City over the weekend, with free accomodation at her mom's place. Yah, actually all my accomodation are covered. Staying at Wilson's place, Lin's apartment and her mother's house in New York City. Will be disturbing her for 2 weeks before flying back to Arizona to take the car from Wilson. Planning some driving trips to California, San Francisco to catch up with Wenxiang if there is time. I just enjoyed countryside driving across states. Ha, did I mention that my first drive was in the state from Florida to San Diego, without a driving license.. ops.

Loughborough Market Revisited & Derbyshire Dales Hiking Trip

Revisited the loughborough market this weekend. I went back to take some pictures as I did not have my camera with me the other time I went. It was also for some chocolate shopping for my friends back home. Easter season is near, and everybody over here celebrate Easter by giving one another chocolates. Chocolate eggs are very popular over here too. Due to my tight budget, I can only afford those more economical chocolates, nice or not I ain't sure. For those who receive the chocolates, try it and then let me know kie. For those who didn't receive anything, you are not forgotten, will get something next time round. Lots of other places I haven't been to yet, and it makes no sense to buy everything from one town. Haha, sorry! By the way, the air-shipping cost as much as the chocolates!!

The Loughborough Market only opens on every thursday and sunday. The things they sell are quite similar to our local markets - vegetables, flowers, meat, seafood, etc.

On sunday, I went on a hiking trip to Derbyshire Dales. The Derbyshire Dales is an area of rolling hills north of Derby. It offers some great walking and I had a great day here. This is my first hiking trip in UK, and I behave more like a tourist than a hiker. Can't be helped that I don't have any hiking gears with me. Waterproof warm clothings, walking boots, whistle, touchlight, compass, maps, where am I going to find all these things? Instead, I have my sweater, the temasek hall windbreaker, track pants and my very own 'smart' shoes. Of course, not to mention my cybershot! I am not just a tourist, but a freezing tourist! It was damn bloodly cold up there in the mountains or hills. It was even snowing very heavily, but only for about 10 minutes. Of course, after long hours of walking, we settled down and slack at a pub.

Some words to describe the hike at the end of the day - Tiring, Bodyacheing, Legs Pain, Hungry, The hike is simply AWESOME! I guess I'm old already...

Everytime I walked around the university with my camera, I am sure to take some new photos...

Sidetracking...

Those six photos above have one thing in common - backviews of people. I always like taking backviews of people, although until now I don't really have any good shots. The idea came from my favourite classic japanese drama, 'overtime'. Sometimes, human beings are just so fake, most of the time wearing a mask and putting on a fake smile to people all around. Haha, this definitely includes posing in front of a camera. However, true genuine smile should be able to be felt from behind, expressing their true feelings... backviews of friends departing at the railstation/airport... smiling towards their bright futures, full of hopes... and dreams... Oh man, I am reminded of my favourite japanese drama... It didn't have a fairy-tale ending but a more realistic one...

Soichiro: If I cannot make the girl I love happy I'll let her go. I cannot bear to see her troubled or sad.
Natsuki: What about your own feelings?

Soichiro: I'll keep it in my heart & let it vanish.

Dedicated to Natsuki, the most loved friend of my life.

SuperHeros!!!

I received a SMS from Adrain gathering all the 0899ers for a Super Heros meet at Shaocong's house. Obviously, he mass-SMSed to everybody and forgot to remove my contact from the list, expecting me to fly back from UK yah. Of course, Super Heros mah. That's what 0899 is about. School uniform cosplay, waterboy-dancing at Sentosa, dressing up to watch Star Wars movie and now... holding the Super Heros Party.

Heard from ah ber, they met up at Parkway Parade to buy their Super Hero Custumes. The funny part is not about buying the custumes. But they purposely went to buy custumes of kids' size!! What the hell... I missed out the fun... Waiting for them to upload the rest of the photos...

Poisoned

It has been one month plus seen I left home. Time really flies. Sometimes, one will only treasure something more when he's going away. The question, do I miss home? Over here, I have been enjoying myself, having no pressure studying especially when all the modules taken are on S/U basis. Having English meals everyday is not really a problem as I am not that particular about food. Those interesting friends here have kept my days so busy with all sorts of their funny stuffs.

Back to the question, I do miss home but only to some extend. Probably that was because that I know I will be going back sooner or later. Singapore, my home. However there is someone who I admit that I miss a lot. Don't ask me who, I am not going to tell. If you think I am referring to you, just drop a comment. For all you may know, I am saying the same things to a lot of every other girl, which is what this girl feels.

The attractive points about her are actually all her bad points. A girl who just behave at her usual self, not afraid that people will see her bad points. To her, it is just like "You better known the flaws of the goods you are purchasing before you start to complain about it later on." Why didn't I go after her? Two excuses that I have thrown to myself are - "the timing's not right" and "I can't see a future with her" Why is the timing not right, you may ask. Well, when I got to know her a little bit better, I discovered that she already has someone else in her mind. Yes, I was busy iMAC-Cing at that time. Later, when everything ended – the MAC system crashed; the guy that she likes got attached with some other girl, I thought my chance has come. But, instead the second excuse came. I couldn't see a future... How am I going to start a relationship when I will be going overseas for six months of exchange soon, and may have another year of extension, which is not confirmed yet? Where will I be? Where will we be even if I manage to start that relationship?

Its only after being away that I realized I miss her so much. Listening to the song she sent me is so heartwarming. All the two previously mentioned excuses have become EXCUSES. They are nothing but craps. So what if there is already someone else in her mind, it is just my fault for being timid, having low self-confidence, not daring to take any action. Secondly, so what if I am going away. I can still chase her from across the globe. This is all only about doing FYP. Just that, I have to do two FYPs instead of one. One in Japan and one in Singapore. The FYP in Japan is of course my "Final Year Project", and the one in Singapore basically stands for "Find Your Partner". Instead of seeing the future, I should paint my own future this time. The most just shipped her over to Japan for me to chase. I am going to take her out on the 14th July, immediately after I touched down in Singapore!

Ideally, the above situation will be so wonderful. Recently, she seems so stressed up. I apologize for all my weird behaviors in MSN conversations and I don't expect anything from you. Just take it as a compliment. I will try to stop whatever of my nonsence. Good luck for mid-term.

Haha, to all my friends out there, if you like someone, go get him or her. Whatever theories, reasonings or excuses are just purely EXCUSES! What's the big deal, the most only kenna reject.

For those who are so curious of what the above are all about, I shall only drop one clue –

チョコレート好きな人がチョコレート嫌いな人に恋をしました。

I bet that girl also don't understand the above statement. Ask me lah, if you ask me, I will translate for you only if you are that girl I am referring to. Meanwhile, just fly kite bah.

25 more days to the states... Xinlin: prepare red carpet to welcome me!!

Bathroom Ensuite

What happen when you don't lock your hostel room when you are away...

What do you think of this picture? En suite??

Look again now...

Have you got it already??

Tom's original room...

Had a crazy and entertaining evening. Basically my flat mate, Tom went out without locking his door. The next thing that happened, the other flatmates shifted his whole bedroom into the bathroom!! Now, Tom has got a bathtub en suite! Look at those nice posters in the bathroom (from the first pic) that are shifted from his room... Oh man... Sorry Tom...

Busy people at work...

The best part... when Tom came back that night, he spent his night in the bathroom, in the comfort of the warm cosy bathtub bed!!

In the morning, back to the original bathtub...
